We thought it wasn't quite soupy enough. I'd probably add more liquid, or less kale in the future. Even so, it was good. TK and I agreed it was a really hearty meal and very filling.
WhatACard lives in the 'burbs of Boston with her husband, twins born in 2005, and a singleton who arrived in the summer of 2009. They belonged to the Waltham Fields Community Farm CSA for two years, and after a move, joined Dragonfly Farms CSA. For 2013, they'll be members of Jones Farm CSA. The family also enjoys shopping at local farm stands and farmers' markets, and grows their own small vegetable and herb garden.
Julie lives in Western, MA with her husband, teenage son and their Standard Poodle, Socket (who, truth be told, really runs the household). They belong to veggie, chicken, egg and floral CSA's at Square Roots Farm in Lanesboro. They are also frequent visitors to Forthill Farmstand, which has some of the best corn in the Berkshires, and the farm stand at the end of their street, Bittersweet Farm, which is open from June through October.
